Private Physical Security · Est. 2019

Move through the world unnoticed.

Veil Consulting is a solo advisory practice for high-net-worth principals, their families, and their travel. We plan the security around your life so you don't have to think about it. No uniforms. No convoy. No surprises.

Services

A small book of very specific work.

We work only on assignments where the outcome matters and the details do too. Six practice areas. Everything else, we refer.

01

Executive Protection Strategy

Threat picture, protective philosophy, coverage design. We architect the protection — you decide who staffs it. No agency capture, no vendor kickbacks.

02

Travel Advance & Advisory

Route surveys, hotel vetting, driver selection, jurisdictional risk, medical evacuation logistics. Country files kept quietly current. Twenty-four hours to a live brief.

03

Residential Assessment

Physical audit of primary residence, secondary homes, and estates. Perimeter, approach, ingress, safe rooms, staff protocols. Findings delivered in language your architect and household manager can both act on.

04

Threat & Vulnerability Assessment

Targeted analysis of the actors who might mean you harm — grievance, litigation, extortion, obsession. Attribution, likelihood, mitigation. Deliverable is dry, factual, and short.

05

Household & Family Protocols

Written playbooks for staff, drivers, and school routines. Duress signals, comms discipline, media hygiene. What to do at 2 a.m. when nobody wants to think.

06

Crisis Coordination

Retainer clients receive a direct line for kidnap, extortion, medical, or reputational incidents. We convene the right specialists in the first hour and coordinate quietly until it ends.

Travel

Your itinerary, already surveyed.

Most exposure happens in transit — at curbs, in lobbies, between the car and the door. We work the route before you land: driver background, alternate hospitals, the third-floor window that looks onto the pool deck, the parking pattern on the block.

Standard deliverables are a country brief, a route survey, a lodging assessment, and a comms plan. Anything less isn't advance work; it's a search engine with a UN account.

Residence

The wall you don't notice.

A residential assessment doesn't come with a sales pitch for cameras. We map how the house is actually used — the delivery gate, the housekeeper's schedule, the pool-house door nobody remembers isn't wired. Then we hand you a short list of the four things that matter and the twenty that don't.

Where hardening is needed, we brief the architect and the integrator directly. Where behavior change is enough, we brief the household. Both cost less than the average security company charges to install one bad panic button.

Planning

Written down. Actually usable.

Every engagement ends with paper — a small stack of documents that will still make sense in three years, whether or not we're still the ones handling your account. Floor plans marked up. Route surveys with the alternate turns. Household duress cards laminated for the kitchen drawer.

We write for the person who will need it under stress, not the person who signed the retainer.

How we work

Three principles. Non-negotiable.

/ 01

Solo, on purpose.

One practitioner runs your file, start to finish. No junior handoffs, no analyst pool, no case number rotating between four inboxes. If you retain us, you retain a person.

/ 02

Independent of the vendors.

We hold no commissions from alarm companies, integrators, EP firms, or hotels. Our recommendations are the ones you'd get if we had nothing to gain — because we don't.

/ 03

Quiet by construction.

There is no client list on this website and there won't be. Referrals move through people who already know the work. That's how it will stay.

The Principal

Twenty years in the profession. None of them advertised.

The practitioner behind Veil Consulting spent the first half of his career inside a government protective service and the second half advising private families and their offices across four continents. The résumé exists. It is shared, when it is shared, only under a signed engagement.

What you can expect: direct communication, plain-language deliverables, appointments that start on time, and a refusal to sell you anything you don't need.
